A Chairde, It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of St Oliver Plunkett National School, Clongeen, which will provide you with a flavour of our wonderful school. We are a rural co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Ferns. We cater for boys and girls from junior infants to sixth class. In our school, we provide a learning environment which is caring, safe and it is priority to us that we enable each child to reach their full potential as individuals whilst also encouraging them to respect the differences of others in our community. We are fortunate to have excellent facilities, with plenty of space for play, sport and fun. As Principal of Clongeen, I am delighted to be leading our school, building on the tremendous achievements of its past and becoming part of its exciting future ahead. The future is bright for Clongeen National School - with the continued support from our committed Board of Management, our dedicated staff, our active Parents Council and of course our amazing children, we can continue to grow and develop. Go raibh maith agaibh, Anne Marie Cullen
